The newest release in the yearly “Blossom Harmony” series, the 2026 deisgn follows the philosophy of “yobitsugi” (a traditional Japanese craftsmanship technique), auspicious motifs such as peonies, chrysanthemums and hawks are layered within soft curves, resulting in attire that embodies Japanese aesthetics and harmony.
The accent in this blend is a long-aged grain whisky that has been matured in "sakura barrels" made from cherry wood and it is characterized by a pure and elegant aroma reminiscent of cherry blossoms and osmanthus.
The taste is clear and clean without any harshness, and you can feel a soft sweetness like acacia honey and La France pear, while incorporating the unique characteristics of the sakura barrel-aged whisky, we aimed for a beautiful harmony that is characteristic of "Hibiki".
Tasting Notes:
Nose:
The fragrant scent of flowers: cherry blossoms, osmanthus.
Palate:
A smooth mouthfeel, a lingering aroma, and an elegant sweetness reminiscent of acacia honey, La France pear, and cherry blossom mochi.
Finish:
A long, rich, and magnificent aftertaste.
